We provide clients with tools that improve their businesses and have been so for over 20 years. During this time, we have found there are a few essential tools that, when applied and implemented, provide remarkable results. These tools work in any industry, any group and any situation.
Organization Optimization emerges when people and processes align with the organization’s goals and objectives. The Four Tools shared by Twelve Degrees contribute to this alignment. This is created with the 3 Pillars that Twelve Degrees builds into the Workshop and Implementation System- Understanding, Involvement and Action.
Proven effective over our many years of experience. Project after project, we introduced multiple tools to our clients. What we have found is that these four components (ABC’s, AAR’s, Leading and Lagging Measures and The Maturity Matrix) consistently provided outstanding results. What we have also learned is that the tools have “evolved” over time. With each project, we have seen our clients/partners develop the tools and shape them in ways that we never imagined possible. We have learned so much from the people we introduced these tools to. Project after project, we were able to capture multiple changes and improvements, allowing us to share a better product each and every time. Today, the tools are exceptionally effective, they can be implemented fast, and they can quickly become part of the business culture, assuring rapid and lasting ROI.
The Twelve Degrees Workshop and the Twelve Degrees Implementation System is designed to add value in multiple industries. This has been proven as these tools have been applied successfully in the Oil and Gas industry, Retail, Gym/Fitness Business, Construction and Cannabis Production. We know that the area that we are best suited for is not “industry specific” but rather “person-specific”. We specialize in providing and implementing highly effective management tools that support all levels of leadership but are especially effective with Front Line Leaders.
Front Line leaders are our favourite group to work with for several reasons. (1) In almost any business, they are responsible for managing the largest number of employees. This means that they are capable of influencing big/positive changes better than others. (2) These people are energetic, and they want to learn and improve. (3) Many are new to this role and require support and structure. (4) Many have been elevated to their leadership positions because of their superior work ethic as well as technical abilities. Their new role proves challenging because they are often learning how to lead people “on the fly.”

After completing his Boilermaker apprenticeship, Steve spent years welding and fabricating in multiple industries. Eventually his career moved toward work as a Process Improvement Specialist, Operational Excellence Coach and Operations Manager. Steve is proud of his knowledge gained from “on the floor” experience.

Steve and his wife Karla are endurance athletes that compete in marathon canoeing events. Each year they paddle well in excess of 1000 kilometres.
